​I offer a free 20-minute video call to see if we're a good fit.​

  • 60-minute session: $150 

  • Most sessions are held online via video call (I have limited in-person sessions available in Harrisonburg, Va)

  • work with people worldwide. All session times are based on Eastern Time (US)

A Note on Fees: If you feel drawn to this work but cannot afford the fees listed above, please reach out to me. I can sometimes offer sliding-scale sessions.

What is this work not for?*

  • an active mental health crisis

  • severe mental/emotional health issues

  • active substance abuse issues

  • current suicidal thoughts

*If you're struggling with one of these challenges, it doesn't necessarily mean we can't work together. It's possible mindful somatic inquiry could be a good addition to your work with a licensed mental health clinician. But because areas like this are particularly sensitive terrain, they require more support than what mindful somatic inquiry can offer on its own.

Sabbaticals
I take regular sabbaticals (sometimes several months off at a time) for field work and creative projects. I am unavailable for sessions and generally unavailable for communications during these times. I will post a notice on the "Contact" page of my website with sabbatical dates if I am currently unavailable.

About Our Work Together

The work I offer is a form of assisted self-study, not psychotherapy or mental health care. Think of our time together as a blend of guided self-meditation, contemplative coaching, and therapeutic somatics - all happening within a healing relational environment.

 

My role is to offer you space to engage with mindful experiences, tools, and support that can help facilitate your own ongoing process of embodied self-discovery and healing. This is a client-empowering process, and it’s a good fit for folks who feel like they're on the edge of some new discovery, but just need some help getting there. It can be deeply healing work for many people, and it's important to know that it doesn't offer the same kind of intensive support as psychotherapy and isn't meant to replace the need for mental health care.

Online Sessions
Online sessions are powerful containers for this work. For many people, especially sensitive folks, meeting from your own space can actually be a powerful way of deepening the process, as your body often feels particularly safe there. It's also a helpful option for people with full schedules. The somatic foundations of mindful somatic inquiry - exploring body sensations, using movement and self-guided touch, experiments done in mindfulness, feeling connection through limbic resonance, etc. - are all easily accessed in distance work.
